Are you looking for a good deal? If so, you may turn to Craigslist.org. This popular classified website is location based. You can only search one location page at a time. If you want to search all of Craigslist, it could take time unless you had a special software program. Despite the added time or need for a search tool, shopping all of Craigslist has its benefits. What are they?
You will find lots of good deals. There are many different categories and subcategories for items listed for sale. First time visitors to the site are often surprised with how many items there are available. You can find everything from used cars to homes to baby clothes. When you shop all of Craigslist, you are more likely to find better prices and products.
You don’t limit yourself. As previously stated, Craigslist.org is location based. You can only search one location page at a time. This means you are likely to select your nearest city or geographical area and search that. Most shoppers don’t think about looking at other location pages, even those that may be less than one hour away. If you are an avid deal seeker, you may not mind driving 45 minutes or more to get an item for a great price or even for free.
As you can see, shopping all of Craigslist has its benefits. What is the best way to do it? You have two main choices. They are:
Perform multiple searches on Craigslist.org. Since you can only search one location or city page at a time, you would need to perform multiple, separate searches. If looking to shop all of Craigslist, this will take a long time. This option is best if you only want to search one or two nearby cities.
Use a desktop Craigslist search tool. These are downloadable and found online. You get many features, but the best feature is the ability to search multiple categories and locations at once. You can search all of Craigslist, entire states, or select a few cities. You can do so with one single search, not multiple.
